Earnings & settlement
Providers earn the credits their endpoints charge. Earned credits are tracked separately from any credits you hold as a consumer and can never be spent as consumer credits.
What you are owed
| Owed prepaid credits | Earned from calls paid with consumers' prepaid credits |
| Owed subscription credits | Earned from calls paid with consumers' subscription credits |
| Available balance | Settled money you can cash out |
| Pending cashouts | Requested and reserved, awaiting review or payout |
| Paid | Completed cashouts |
Prepaid settlement
Prepaid credits have a known purchase value. Each allocation records its package rate (for example, Builder: €50 / 5,500 credits = €0.00909 per credit), and the gateway records which allocations paid for each call. Your prepaid earnings are the sum of those values.
Subscription settlement
Subscription credits come from a pooled monthly revenue, so their value is set when the month closes:
subscription credit value = eligible subscription revenue pool
÷ subscription credits spent (all providers)
your subscription earnings = your subscription credits earned
× subscription credit value
The eligible pool is subscription revenue for the period minus taxes, payment fees, refunds and chargebacks. With a €300 pool and 150 credits spent, each credit is worth €2.00; with 300 credits spent, €1.00.
- Unused subscription credits do not take part: only credits actually spent on calls count.
- If no subscription credits are spent in a period, the pool is not distributed.
- Refunds and chargebacks that arrive after a period is settled reduce the next open period's pool.
Platform fee and rounding
A platform fee of 20% is deducted from gross earnings. Calculations use micro-euros (€0.000001) and the net amount is rounded down to the cent; the remainder is shown on the statement.
The monthly job
On the 1st of each month the settlement job:
- Flushes the gateway's usage journal so every call of the period is recorded.
- Checks that all Stripe payments, refunds and subscription events are processed.
- Expires unused subscription credits of the period.
- Calculates prepaid and subscription values independently.
- Writes an immutable statement per provider with every input, rate and deduction, plus a per-command breakdown.
- Adds the net amount to your available balance and marks the period settled.
The job is idempotent: running it again for a settled period changes nothing, and a failed run can be retried safely.
Cashouts
Request a cashout of any amount of your available balance above the €20.00 minimum. The amount is reserved immediately. An administrator reviews the request and records the decision, timestamp and reason. Approved cashouts are transferred to your Stripe Connect account and the transfer ID is shown on the request. Rejected or failed cashouts return the amount to your available balance.
