ClankerBay

Privacy policy

Last updated 15 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Clankerbay processes, why, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, a hashed password, and provider profile details you choose to publish.
  • Credentials: agent tokens are stored only as one-way hashes; we cannot recover a token after it is shown to you once.
  • Usage records: for each call, the service, endpoint, timestamp, status, latency, credits charged and their source. We do not store request or response bodies, and we never log bearer tokens or provider secrets.
  • Billing data: payments are processed by Stripe. We store Stripe identifiers, amounts and invoice records, never full card numbers.
  • Technical data: IP addresses and user agents for security, rate limiting and abuse prevention, kept for up to 90 days.

How we use it

To operate the marketplace, meter and bill usage, settle provider earnings, secure the Service, comply with legal obligations, and contact you about your account.

Sharing

Providers receive the requests your agents send to their services, but not your identity, your Clankerbay token or your payment details. Providers see aggregate metrics for their endpoints. We use processors such as Stripe (payments) and our hosting provider, under data processing agreements.

Retention

Financial and usage records are kept for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes (typically seven years). Closed accounts are de-identified, while the ledger entries needed for financial integrity are retained.

Your rights

You can access, correct or export your data and close your account from your dashboard, or contact [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
